Responsibilities / Accomplishments:

Main characteristics, tasks and functions:
- Good technical knowledge of standard and non-standard company’s products (bearings)
- Ability to look up in company’s and competitors’ catalogues and other technical publications for product identification, equivalence and interchangeability
- Good knowledge of customers’ technical applications
- Good knowledge of company’s customers portfolio
- Good knowledge of company’s standard and special price lists
- Good knowledge of competitors’ standard and special price lists
- Good knowledge of the price-making process for each product category
- Ability to define the most suitable delivery terms
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle customers’ inquiries
- Writing and sending easy to complex quotes to customers, both manually and via company’s ERP
- Management of quotes by means of customers’ supply portals
- Management of clients in the company’s dedicated database
- Management of orders in the company’s dedicated database (order registration, picking lists for warehouse, monitoring of payments, etc.)
- Ability to select the product which best meets customers’ needs
- Ability to identify and select the relevant technical specifications (drawings, technical fiches) to meet customers’ requests
- Ability to promote the company’s expertise for every quote
- Request products control to the company’s warehouses and quality control staff and keep track of them
- Management of customers’ requests (orders changes, additional requests, complaints)
- Ability to evaluate status of company’s stocks to balance distribution of items between warehouses
- Ability to evaluate status of company’s stocks to prevent product shortage and allow on-time product replenishment. In this task, she/ he cooperates with company’s purchasing office
- Issue and control of pro-forma invoices for free samples and company’s literature
- Evaluation of customers’ general condition of contracts for compliance reasons
- Telephone exchange operations
- Management of incoming and outgoing faxes

Requirements:

Must possess a university degree, preferably in engineering, and/or at least one (1) year experience in a related field (marketing, sales, production)
- Must be able to manage highly stressful situations
- Computer skills including the ability to operate Excel spreadsheets, Word processing and e-mail programs at a highly proficient level
- Languages: English, Italian, other languages represent a plus
