Company description: Mucher & Co AB “MCo” is a transaction advisory firm based in Sweden. With a selected network of partners we also do syndicated investments which currently is the primary activity in Romania. The principal Johan Mucher “JM” has advised more than a hundred equity and debt transactions including private and public M&A, IPO:s, book-built stock market transactions, rights issues, private placements, valuations and equity-related incentive programs.
Job description: Part time junior associate / personal virtual assistant
- Economics academic background
- Work experience is not mandatory, but it is a plus.
- Friendly and comfortable while communicating with any type of contacts including top level managers.
- Fluent in English
- Good internet connection: We work with screen sharing and video conferencing so a good internet connection is important.
Example of tasks:
- In an interactive process together with JM you will generate and prospect contact leads in order to find suitable individuals for the project such as lawyers, architects, construction workers, real estate and company brokers.
- Contact the previously mentioned individuals via phone and email and book meetings with them.
- Visit potential investment opportunities(initially apartments and single family homes) and provide feedback regarding a couple of specific aspects in order to make a selection and schedule a next visit with JM if the criterias are met.
- Extract official documents from different sources (ex: building permits)
- Romanian/English documents translation.
- Ideal alternative to a paid internship.
- Remote job: You can work from anywhere, but you have to be located in Bucharest in order to be able to attend meetings and visit potential investment locations.
- Flexible Schedule: You will control the days and hours when you work, however most of the work has to be done during business hours and you will have to provide a work schedule in advance for the following week.
