Managing the maintaining and repairing of the existing tooling, especially from machining.
Is responsible for tooling preventive maintenance and analysis.
Reports any deficiencies in tooling for immediate actioning by suppliers.
Is responsible for raising shopping cart, reception, checking and activation of tools.
Works closely with Product Industrialization Engineers on the requirements of tooling and change parts for new parts.
Assists on fault finding or setting issues if requested.
Participates in continuous improvement activities when requested and suggests cost or efficiency saving ideas where applicable.
Assures the correct maintaining of tool database and inventory.
Catia and AutoCad knowledge – medium level.
Reading and understanding technical drawings.
Analytical and problem solving skills with regards to tooling.
Computer skills, MS Office knowledge.
