Job qualifications/requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related disciplines (or equivalent knowledge/experience).

  • Minimum final grade ≥ 95

  • Proficient users CAD system:

  1. Catia V5;

  2. Unigraphics NX 9 - NX 11;

  3. Creo 3;

  • Familiarity with CAE software ( FEM e CFD analysis);

  • Independent user ANSYS tool is preferred;

  • Good English (spoken and written), French and German knowledge is preferred;

  • Strong oral and written communication skills,

  • Strong interpersonal skills, team work,

  • Developed sense of urgency and prioritization,

  • Problem solving skills and ability to work independently;

  • Interacts well and with a high degree of urgency to customers, and at all levels within the organization, as well as cross organizations;

  • Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office,

  • Availability for short trips;

Description of the activities / Main occupation and responsibilities:

The candidate directs the development of new products or planning with PM, customer and supplier the main activities to meet the requirement of existing products.

The figure will be introduce in a dynamic and youthful working environment. The main responsibilities are:

  • Mechanical and mechatronic design for automotive sector to meet or exceed customer spec requirements;

  • Creating mechanical 3D and 2D fabrication and assembly drawings in according to ISO, ASME standards;

  • Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs;

  • Knowledge of the main development phases of automotive product;

  • Develop Bills of Materials, feasibility study, prototype analysis, benchmarking study, other drawings and documents (FMEA, DV, PV, etc.) for projects and cost analysis for RFQ (Request For Quotation);

  • Work with management on areas of improvement to standardize and increase production;

  • Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers;

  • Oversee the material order requests;

  • Work with other departments;

  • Producing details of specifications and outline designs;

  • Ability to make important decision under pressure;

  • Knowledge of the main machining;

  • Excellent knowledge of the plastics materials, components and its processing applications;

  • Design of plastic and steel components;

  • Knowledge of the PLM (Teamcenter);
