Job Summary: 

Payroll Administrator is responsible for direct and indirect contact with the customers of the client and aims to provide superior service in terms of timely and accurate inquiries management. This role is also responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll inputs and execution of internal/external controls.

Furthermore, Payroll Administrators may be requested to be involved in cross-training for other processes or client, off-cycle transactional activities or continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Focus on quality assurance within payroll inquiries and inputs:
    • Accuracy, completeness and timeliness in processing inputs
    • Timeliness of inquiries and accuracy and completeness of response
  • Coordination of distribution of daily/monthly team tasks (no untouched inquiries or inputs, always assigned to someone)
  • Proactively manage team’s process documentation and supporting documentation
  • Provide effective process coaching to the assigned team members
  • Perform transactional activities as other Payroll Administrators (processing inputs, inquiries, controls)
  • Identify knowledge gaps in the team followed by driving a discussion with Team Lead/APC
  • Identify risks in process and participate on their solution/elimination with Team Lead / APC
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the assigned processes
  • Adhere to contractual service levels (SLAs, KPIs, RMs)
  • Act as APC backup where required
  • Participate in knowledge transfer as required
  • Support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance through own work and behavior

Other skills and qualifications:  

  • 0-3 years of payroll/HR experience;
