Position Purpose:

Due to fast growth and expansion into new territories and with new business area we are looking for a Junior Accountant / Finance Clerk to join our finance and accounting team in Cluj, Romania.

This is challenging and interesting position and presents a great opportunity for the right applicant to develop their career and contribute to the continuous improvement of our group finance function.  We will also support professional trainings as needed.

The tasks described below are applicable for all countries in the group.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to Chief Accountant you will do the following:

  • Accounts Payable – invoice confirmation, payments set-up, supplier inquiries
  • Manage weekly cash flow reports and short term forecasts
  • Manage and process expense claims / card expenses
  • Manage petty cash / handle business trips preparation
  • Perform regular transaction booking
  • Keep records of fixed assets and small fixed assets
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • General administrative duties, such as filing and archiving
  • Perform other finance or accounting functions, as assigned

Your skills:

  • High School or Bachelor's degree in economics
  • Previous experience of general accounting preferred (6 months - 1 year)
  • Good Excel skills
  • Fluent English – French, Russian or Bulgarian would be useful
