Java Developer – Mid-Level.


What you’ll do

You will be working as part of a team that is focused on supporting Tangoe clients through the continuous enhancement of the software by researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve the application issues. You will work closely with QA to provide quality code, developing that new code and performing code refactoring using Agile/Scrum project management methodology.  You will also be responsible for continuously upgrading the software technologies used and keep the product up to date.  We’re big on teamwork at Tangoe so we would expect you to step up, when necessary, to help the other team members.  We use the latest technologies/frameworks, Spring Framework (Spring JDBC, Spring MVC, Spring REST, Spring WS), JUnit, Mockito and end-to-end automated testing using Selenium, Continuous Integration (Jenkins), Security Testing, etc. an advantage for you if you wish to improve/develop your programming skills.


Who you are:

You will be at least Degree educated with good English language skills, possessing at least 3-years of Java and SQL programming experience and have a good working knowledge of the Spring framework.  Any experience of working with Web applications and HTML +JavaScript would be an advantage. More importantly, you must possess an open “can-do attitude and a real willingness to learn and develop your skills further as well as the ability to function as part of a team.
