Working as part of the Service Desk and reporting to the Operations Manager and Managing Director and being supported by the external engineering team, the Network Support Engineer is responsible for assisting with the day to day running of both the internal and customer network infrastructures as well as maintain accurate technical documentation.
The role of the Network Support Engineer is to provide a technical interface between the service desk and customers, specifically providing first and second line troubleshooting and support. In addition, their role is to provide network deskside support to users within the business.
