   As an IT Service engineer, your primary focus will be on internal user support for company PC’s, printers, VoIP desk phones, and related equipment and services.

General tasks include:

  • Installation of OS and software using the internal deployment systems.
  • Doing hardware upgrades and installations
  • Offering support regarding various software issues that might arise
  • License tracking and management
  • Hardware Inventory tracking and maintenance
  • Deploying hardware setup for new employees
  • Using internal tools to handle various DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange and network issues
  • Programming / Scripting skills are a plus

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Preferably a degree in the IT&C domain
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Competencies:
    • Experience with Windows and Linux OS. (experience on OS X is a plus)
    • General knowledge regarding network technologies, protocols and ports
    • General knowledge regarding end user IT&C devices
    • Knowledge of virtualization technologies is a plus
    • Knowledge of ITIL framework is a plus
  • Good working knowledge of the English language (German is a plus)
