HR Learning Designer - TSR

Job Description

Continental aims to building up a Service Center for Learning, supporting internal customers globally to develop and deploy efficient and high-quality learning items. Within your role as a Learning Designer in the Service Center Learning you will be responsible for:

  • Consulting internal customers on how to translate their learning objectives into effective learning items (focus on online learning items)
  • Creating engaging, high quality learning activities and compelling course content
  • Working with (Subject Matter) Experts (SMEs) designing learner-centric solutions
  • Supporting purchasing process with external design vendors, if applicable
  • Applying Continental’s Learning Philosophy and Design Process Visualization of instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Conducting research and analysis on learning trends and technologies
  • Designing of supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations)
  • Applying state-of-the-art instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Becoming an active member of Continental’s Learning Community

Job Requirements

  • Academic degree in economics, psychology, pedagogy or comparable studies with 3+ years relevant professional experience
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with authoring tools (. Adobe Captivate) in a fast-paced environment and preferably SAP’s Learning Management System
  • Visual design skills (. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard are an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office 365
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts in English language
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creative power and quality orientation
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Experience in leading projects, project management skills
  • High customer orientation, ability to understand and connect with internal customers from diverse functional backgrounds
  • Intercultural competence
  • A passion for learning and digital solutions
  • A passion for current trends in HR and talent development to pioneer future learning
