Hunt Oil Company of Romania (HOCOR) is seeking a Geotechnical Compliance Administrator to join our Bucharest office. The Geotechnical Compliance Administrator will work closely with the G&G, Subsurface and Operation teams for compliance, reporting and liaison with National Agency for Mineral Resources (NAMR).
Under supervisory oversight, take responsibility for compiling and submitting required documents to NAMR, in accordance with relevant legislation. Responsibilities include scheduled quarterly and annual submissions as well as required documentation related to ongoing and planned operations such as drilling and seismic activities, data access and transfer and providing technical reports.
Compile drafts of required documentation for technical projects such as Intent to drill, request for flaring, well/well section abandonment, well suspension, proposal to acquire seismic etc. Review with appropriate HOCOR technical staff and revise appropriately for submission as per Romanian specific legislation.
List, track and coordinate NAMR requests and requirements. Ensure timely submissions and NAMR responses. Communicate and persevere with HOCOR stakeholders ensuring they are appraised of submission requirements and status of NAMR submissions and approvals in a timely manner.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to maintenance of chronological order of documents (outgoing and incoming), task registry with identified tasks, due dates and responsibilities, proactive housekeeping for NAMR audits, liaise and develop good work relationship with NAMR staff as required.
