Geneva Developer (Java-PL/SQL)

Skills:

  • Telco experience\knowledge
  • Ideally have Geneva (NC RBM ) or other billing systems experience
  • Be able to understand long\complex java classes
  • Be able to understand and write complex PL/SQL queries
  • Basic shell scripting
  • Proactivity and persistence
  • Good communicator, team player, smart worker and adaptable to new environments easily & quickly

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cover new and existing implementations
    • java modules for interfaces and payments
    • report extraction modules, data export modules, data migration scripts
      • most java modules have SQL queries embedded into them
  • Analyze and fix issues\bugs
  • Test existing and new solutions\implementations
  • Refactoring and improving quality for existing code. Implement best practices for development
  • Provide effort estimation and be involved in the design phase
  • Analyze and document existing\new modules both technically and functionally
