Position Summary

  • Organize and manage the budget activities and the budget tracking of CAPEX projects as well as the settlement and capitalization of the works according with the Rompetrol Downstream politics and procedures.
  • Coordinate support activities for contracting the services and equipment’s needed in achieving the investment project objectives in compliance with the group procurement procedure.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the annual/biannual budget process for Capex projects within the Networking Development Department of the company.
  • Monitor and report the investment projects execution status, the approved commitments and the registered costs, analysis of plan/actual deviations on project.
  • Manage the Capex projects (investments proposals, financial models, highlight the importance of the projects and obtain approvals, budget execution stage) and the change requests (scope, implementation or budget plan, etc.).
  • Verify the draft contracts are compliant with the business needs, assure the smooth running of the signed contracts and prepare the reports and notifications in case of services or equipment’s delay delivery.
  • Control the invoicing process toward the existing procurement contracts at department level, suppliers and accounting department.
  • SAP responsibility: bookings, ordering, revenues, costs.
  • Lead the fix assets commissioning activity from the Capex projects within the department.
  • Manage a team of 2-3 people.
  • Prepare/present reports and budget presentations of the Capex projects to management and others related departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree: economical or technical.
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, financial reporting, developing budgets - and financial models, etc.
  • At least 2-3 years’ in a similar role.
  • Technical understanding is a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Projects, Excel, Power Point skills.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Advanced English level knowledge.
  • Ability to build strong trusted working relationships with internal/external business customers.
  • Positive, solution and details oriented person.
