For one of our clients, top multinational company, we are currently recruiting a Finance Shared Service Centre Manager. The role is based in Iasi.
The Romania Finance Shared Service Centre Manager is the leader of the internal company`s OTC, accounting and finance operations in Romania. Responsible for planning, implementing and stabilizing work that is transitioning from multiple geographies as well as simplifying and re-engineering existing processes in order to improve efficiency, effectiveness and controls. Best in Class finance processes are required to bring our Center of Excellence to its next stage. This individual reviews and approves recommendations for organizational outputs, and presents relevant information to senior management. This individual develops, modifies and implements shared services, financial and accounting operational specifications and controls, and policies and procedures.
The focus is on:
Delivering service that meets agreed SLA/KPIs, managing the supply/demand process, recruiting and developing talent within the Romania Center as well as promoting careers opportunities for high potential employees, developing strong relationships and teams internally and externally, achieving productivity improvements transforming the business.
Overall center of excellence recommending and implementing changes to the accounting, OTC and finance operations.
Owns the delivery of service for the Shared Services measured/controlled by SLAs/KPI
Manages the Centre talent pool development, learning programs and deploy company`s HR policies and tools
Regularly interacts with Corporate and senior management on matters concerning several functions and geographies.
Participates with Global Finance Shared Services VP, Chief Accountant, OTC Leader and CFO to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Leader of the shared services process transition and transformation teams
Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations.
Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through many managers in the company.
Active member of the Finance Transformation team including other Finance Shared Service Centre managers, Global process owners and Finance transformation managers
Deliver performance (Quality, Cost, Time) in order to meet the agreed SLAs/KPIs for the Financial Towers of operation
Responsible for providing onsite management to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve operational issues in order to meet the Financial Tower SLAs
Drives productivity initiatives to improve cost and performance
Manage risk during transition of new processes or work to Romania in order to minimize the impact on performance and stabilize operational delivery as quickly as possible
Works with the support organization to make sure that we have the right people, facilities and tools to meet the operational requirements
Maintains the Control Environment to ensure that ICMP standards are met
Recruit, develop and promote talent within the FSSC
Previous strong management experience in finance&accounting in international environment;
Experience in managing big teams;
US GAAP experience or IFRS;
Excellent English skills;
Great leadership skills;
