We are currently seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our Advisory practice, which is a leading provider of services to financial industry and large corporate clients of all industries.
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor or Master degree in Statistics, Computer science or equivalent
1-3 years of relevant professional experience, with solid exposure to analytics projects and particular focus on:
Familiar with data sourcing, data capture, data transformation and data preparation tools and techniques
Machine Learning theoretical knowledge and practical experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and writing skills in English for both technical and business addition, the following skills would be welcomed
Understanding and practical experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc
Programming experience in multiple tools/language/frameworks within the Big Data world (Hadoop, MongoDB, Neo4j, Spark, Hive, Hbase, Cassandra, etc.)
Familiar with modern visualization tool (Tableau, Qlikview, Spotfire, etc.)
Business understanding of the financial sector (banking) is a major asset
Experience working in a cloud environment
We are currently looking for capable, motivated professionals with 1 – 3 years of experience, to join the team as Data Scientist. The job entails developing advanced data analytics models to be used in solving business problems.
Being part of our Data & Analytics Team you will:
To do that, you will use clients’ in-house data as well as appropriate external data-sources.
You will also resort to various data management and visualization techniques to provide insight into the data.
Your portfolio of skills should cover a wide range of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques for classification, prediction, clustering, forecasting, as well as data management, data visualization, and optimization, applied to business context.
Profile, review and verify the integrity, completeness, validity, accuracy and consistency of data used for analysis
Apply statistical or machine learning techniques design, and development of processes meant to operationalize derived analytical models into business applications
Identify value-added insights from data and present the results obtained into visualizations tools to support business understanding and decision making
Work closely with colleagues from other departments, in areas such as risk management, business optimization and customer intelligence, to derive additional insights from client available data
Support transformation processes towards a data centric culture
