Job Purpose

Identify, develop and drive channel and category opportunities, and guarantee winning at the first moment of truth in the Off-Trade Channel, as a direct result of brilliant execution of all customer marketing activities.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Analysis

  • Participate in the preparation of Customer Marketing strategy for Off Trade, followed by  executable customer plans that deliver sustainable profit & market share growth for our brands
  • Identify relevant growth opportunities from the Customer’s viewpoint and develop activities on how to execute them
  • Develop a full understanding of internal and external data related to the Off-Trade Channel; follow a proactive approach to expanding our insights in terms of consumer, customer, competition and market trends; become the company expert of Off Trade Customers / Consumption Occasions
  • Develop strong business relationships with our sales colleagues in the country and gain firsthand knowledge through frequent market visits
  • Map customer universe and own Off Trade segmentation, developing clusters of value and creating propositions that ensure coherency with the overall strategy
  • Analyze brand sell-out results by channel/customers and make appropriate recommendations

 

Execution

  • Prepare, implement and evaluate promotional activities on a monthly and quarterly basis in cooperation with the Commercial Team (Promotions, Visibility, Training, Menus, etc.), and in line with brand and consumer strategies to achieve the company’s objectives; ensure monthly review and update of the quarterly/monthly plan.
  • Develop a network of contacts within Off Trade accounts to maximize brand opportunities and effectiveness of brand investment.
  • Measure and report performance of all executed campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs); Collect, store and use M&E data to make more efficient business decisions in the future with regards to the allocation of trade investments.
  • Hold the overall responsibility for the implementation of major 3rd Space promotional activity if these events happen in partnership with Off Trade customers
  • Manage budget and M&E for executing activities; ensure improved ROI performance
  • Supervise third parties (. Agencies), follow timelines in order to achieve outcomes as outlined for assigned responsibilities and provide feedback
  • Locally adjust advertising and promotion activities if applicable (., adjust activation mechanisms, select PoS/supporting materials, language related issues)
  • Own and lead the development and deployment of Category Management (CAT MAN) strategies in order to win SOM and Revenue Growth. Examples are:
          • Merchandising guidelines
          • Portfolio assortment
          • Occasion based purchasing strategies
  • Collaborate with the consumer marketing team for planning & budgeting, production and implementation of all brand promotions, including point of sales materials
  • Support RTC strategy deployment across the Off-Trade Channel; continuously evaluate RTC to expand relevance in the channel in a profitable way, in order to achieve distribution and profit plans
  • Work closely with Supply Chain on category/brand forecasting and inventory management; develop remnants sellout plan when needed

Qualifications:

  • University diploma, preferably at a postgraduate level
  • 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Customer Marketing in an FMCG environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office
