Are you a talented and experienced System Administrator who excels finding innovative solutions for our monitoring and operations department ?
Azets Application Development team is divided between Norway, Sweden and Romania, working language is English. You will be working in a dynamic team with other highly skilled professionals.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following areas:
Identify and troubleshoot platform issues
Monitor performance and reliability of Linux and Microsoft systems and services
Monitor performance and reliability of Elasticsearch, Redis, MSSQL, MySQL/MariaDB databases and services
Build and support AWS and private virtual infrastructure (VMWare)
Work with development, staging, QA, and production environments deploying software throughout the software lifecycle
Support the continuous integration infrastructure
What you bring to the role:
Degree in Computer Science or relevant education/experience
Experience/knowledge in using monitoring tools like Nagios, Kibana or SCOM
Knowledge within MS SQL, MySql/MariaDB and/or NoSql is an advantage
Knowledge within configuration management tools such as Ansible
Knowledge within virtualization like VMware
Experience troubleshooting SQL and noSQL databases
Experience with both Windows and Linux Web Services
Experience with Windows Server installation, configuration and maintenance
Setting up monitoring systems and alerts in SCOM, Nagios and Zabbix
Troubleshooting skills and a commitment to document findings
Be proactive, develop new skills and improve existing ones
Share knowledge with team members
It would be nice if you have:
Experience in debugging and performance tuning in a production environment
Experience with ticketing systems like OTRS
ITIL Foundation Level knowledge would be a plus
Effective organizational skills to support a consistently high standard of operations
Scripting skills would be a plus
Versioning tools knowledge (. Git)
SQL Query processing and/or optimization
Storage systems, data replication & recovery
