  • Bachelor or Master degree education, preferably technical school,
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience plus minimum 1 year lean experience in automotive industry,
  • English language fluently,
  • Advanced PC operating skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
  • Ability to make presentations and answer questions from different groups of managers and clients,
  • Management skills associated with coordinating important initiatives for the organization,
  • Planning and coordination skills, organizing training sessions and sustaining the concept of continuous improvement at all levels of the production unit.


  • Facilitates continuous improvement implementation & employee involvement,
  • Primary objective is to create and/or sustain a beneficial change culture within its sites and employee population in order to drive attainment of long-term business strategies & AOP objectives as manifested through the Continuous Improvement Plan,
  • Focuses plant / organization leadership & employee teams on assessment, planning, actions & measurement using tools & methods that drive waste elimination & reduce variation resulting in operational and product savings, productivity gains & alignment with AOP objectives,
  • Prepares, executes, revises and measures progress on the DOS (Dura Operating System) /AOE (Achieve Operational Excellence) Continuous Improvement Plan targeted at AOP and performances programs/initiatives,
  • Facilitates continuous improvement intervention & employee involvement throughout the plant and cooperatively with Engineering and Procurement within the supply community; may support other related sites and organizations,
  • Identifies opportunities to implement common processes & best demonstrated practices from other sites and businesses; disseminates and acts upon relevant industry and corporate benchmarking data,
  • Assures that predicted savings are tracked, validated and posted to the plant’s operating results,
  • Utilize visual management tools to inform stakeholders of progress or challenges,
  • Provides leadership, coaching and training in lean thinking and lean production, variation reduction, problem solving and avoidance and people/team strategies,
  • Strategic progression toward achieving DOS
