We are now looking for someone who will join our team on a full-time office position as
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Drive company’s technology development through strategy creation
Advise on company’s strategic business decisions related to technology
Evaluate and implement new technology systems and infrastructure
Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably, securely and in accordance with the latest industry trends across all departments in the company
Build quality assurance, data protection processes and disaster recovery plans
Develop networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside technological breaches
Identify and solve security problems with your team
Oversee automation projects and processes and advise on development and implementation of complex infrastructure automations
Supervise the extension of the functionalities of current tools/automations
Use deep technical expertise to set up requirements for the teams to develop workflows
Establish the IT and data team and form part of the recruitment process
Give guidelines and supervise IT and data team members in making plans for technology solutions
Collaborate with other teams and departments to assist on the technology and data related strategies
Your core competencies and skills:
Proven experience for at least 3 years as a CTO/similar managerial role and 8+ years experience in IT in general
Knowledge of technological trends to build strategies
In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development
Knowledge of all functions and roles within IT departments
Knowledge of best information security practices
Ability to conduct technological analysis and research
Understanding of budgets and business-planning
Proven high technical expertise in end to end Automation IT Infrastructure Build, including of Cloud Architecture, APIs and Orchestration
Proven high technical expertise in software engineering/development
Proven experience in automated infrastructure deployments
Strong understanding of the following technologies: Selenium, Java EE - Maven/Gradle, NodeJS/Python/Vanilla JS, MySQL/MariaDB/SQL Server, Redis, RESTful API, Git, Jenkins
Understanding of: MongoDB/NoSQL, WorkFusion or UiPath, Cucumber, Phantom JS
