  1. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing/ brand management
  2. Purpose of the job:

Develops the category strategy for CEE management unit and propose and implements the consumer marketing action plans for RO market for the assigned category in order to ensure value and volume market share growth and profitability, in line with company strategy.

Reporting line: 1 direct subordinate (Junior Category Manager)


Key responsabilities:

  1. Develops long term strategy and brand plans for the assigned category;
  2. Develops & coordinates in time in full execution of all consumer activities within approved brand plans (brand communication campaigns, new product launches, packaging design development, national consumer promotions, portfolio assortment, pricing strategy);
  3. Together with Market Intelligence Team initiates any research aimed at better understanding the consumer and category;
  4. Develops packaging design and labels (upgrading, design changing) and any product improvements necessary, in collaboration with relevant key stakeholders;
  5. Actively uses research and other sources of information to regularly monitor consumer behavior at all relevant touch points (including POS) and esures that relevant stakeholders are informed of consumer insights and incorporate them into their plans and activities;
  6. Monitors category performance compared to set objectives and proposes corrective actions
  7. Ensures all agreed brand initiatives from the commercial calendar are implemented in time and in full;
  8. Monitors the budget set for the allocated category, while ensuring that expenses are kept within the set limits and informs and RO Marketing Head regarding any deviation;
  9. Monitors brand profitability and proposes/ stimulates actions for improvement;
  10. Follows the activities of competitors and their relevant categories (price, consumer activities, advertising, strategies) and builds regular reports to the Senior Cat. Man and commercial team
  11. Makes regular market visits;
  12. Efficient collaboration with all internal stakeholders and external partners (brand, media, digital, packaging agencies etc).
