Betfair Romania Development continues its all year round paid internship program in Cluj.

Our Internship program is a 3 months paid one. We currently offer the following positions:

  • DevOps
  • Security

          The Security Operations intern will be a part of the high-performing Security Operations Center in Cluj and will be focused on responding to cyber-security alerts and assisting with the department's day-to-day activities. During a regular work-day you will work with Intrusion Detection Systems, Big Data correlation systems, Enterprise Antivirus systems, vulnerability scanners, session and flow analysis tools and many others. The successful candidate is passionate about IT and IT security and wants to learn how to defend a company from cyber-threats, in a very dynamic field. 

 Responsibilities:

- respond to cyber-security incidents

- assist with investigations relating to security incidents or threat hunting activities

- assist with team governance tasks

- assist with security systems maintenance activities

- assist with the remediation of compromised systems

- assist with the vulnerability management workflow

  • Operations Executive

  Content management: launching new content on all gaming products for both brands - Betfair & PaddyPower (. new promotions, games, SEO, static pages)

  • Sports Operator
  • Systems Support

The Systems Support Intern is an individual who will learn to deploy and maintain our corporate IT systems. The role is hands on in managing our corporate systems and set up of policies for our wider user group and includes exposure to the following technologies: Office 365, Active Directory, Mobile Device Management, Powershell scripting, System Center Configuration Manager, enterprise antivirus etc. A successful candidate is someone passionate about IT infrastructure that wants to pursue a career in IT systems administration.

  • End-User Support


            - respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
            - diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
            - advise user on appropriate action
            - follow standard help desk procedures
            - identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
            - hardware procurement
             - software asset management and inventory
          Technology areas: Windows 7, Safecom Printing, Microsoft Office, SCCM, Active Directory

For all of this positions we need someone with:

    • Excellent English verbal and writing communication skills are essential
    • Excellent organizations skills and ability to multitask
    • Structured thinking and a clear ability to plan and deliver the desired outcome
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
