We seek out talented automotive/Industria Heavy Machinery engineers with bright and creative minds, ready to join our team in UK. The areas/positions we need to cover are:

  1. Verification and Validation Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Document key test requirements
  • Develop sub-system and system level testing strategies
  • Work with sub-system experts to understand sub-system requirements and structure for implementing rigorous test procedures
  • Refinement of the dSPACE HiL test system and the automation of system level verification test plans using Automation Desk
  • Test result analysis, issue reporting and investigation
  • Support software validation and troubleshooting on engine

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Control systems or Automotive engineering
  • Prior experience of dSPACE  including the use of Automation Desk
  • Good understanding of diesel engine technology
  • Experience of designing and executing verification strategies and test plans for complex automotive systems
  1. Verification and Validation Coordinator

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development and delivery of verification and validation strategy and tactical plan
  • Lead progress reporting and key issue identification
  • Understand and document key test requirements along with customer engineers
  • Development of sub-system and system level testing
  • Refinement of the dSPACE HiL test system and the automation of system level verification test plans using Automation Desk

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Technical degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control systems or automotive engineering
  • Team leadership and customer facing experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience of dSPACE HiL tools, including the use of Automation Desk
  • Good understanding of diesel engine technology (rail fuel systems)
  • Experience of designing and executing verification strategies and test plans for complex automotive systems
  1. Application Systems Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document key technical requirements
  • Development of system design and specifications to meet identified requirements, using structured tools and processes
  • Plan and manage feature development and implementation to meet the program timelines
  • Plan and conduct verification tests to ensure quality of released software / system
  • Develop dSPACE HiL test system and the automation of system level verification test plans using Automation Desk
  • Plan and support validation tests of key application features
  • Support software validation and troubleshooting on engine

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • A strong technical degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control systems or automotive engineering
  • Prior experience in engine control system development
  • Prior experience of dSPACE, including the use of Automation Desk to automate test plan execution.
  • Good understanding of diesel engine technology, including common rail fuel systems
  1. Project Engineer – Embedded Software Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and verify specific control system features at either application or infrastructure level using your expertise in the C programming language
  • Integration of developed software with other features developed “by hand” or autocoded
  • Produce work products in accordance to defined standards and guidelines

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Substantive experience and knowledge in the area of embedded system development:
    • Traditional “hand coded” development within safety related applications
    • Model based auto coded development within safety related applications
    • Hybrid development (combination of above)
  • Experience using configuration control systems (GIT, Clearcase etc.)
  • Demonstrable professional experience with some or all of the following
    • C programming language
    • Static analysis methods and tools (. QAC, LINT)
    • Configuration tools (GIT, clearcase)
    • Complex build environments, 
    • Mathworks tools (Matlab, Simulink, RealTime Workshop)
    • AUTOSAR and associated Vector toolset (DaVinci)
  • Experience working with a range of communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, Lin, Flexray)
  1. Project Engineer – Embedded Software Architect

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical leadership and insight to client team in embedded system development and integration - working across technical specialisms, adopting / and or establishing  new processes and acting as a primary point of contact for this specialist area
  • Provides guidance and expertise to drive the architecture of the designed system to accommodate the requirements of new architectural drivers, . Adoption of AUTOSAR
  • Task engineers and provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced engineers within this area of expertise

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Substantive experience and knowledge in the area of embedded system development:
    • Traditional “hand coded” development within safety related applications
    • Model based auto coded development within safety related applications
    • Hybrid development (combination of above)
  • Configuration managed complex developments comprising multiple features with multiple developers delivering multiple variants simultaneously
  • Substantial exposure to a collection of the following domains: diesel engine control systems, off-highway machine controls, other safety related automotive controls systems
  • Demonstrable professional experience with some or all of the following
    • C programming language
    • Static analysis methods and tools (. QAC, LINT)
    • Configuration tools (GIT, clearcase)
    • Complex build environments, 
    • Mathworks tools (Matlab, Simulink, RealTime Workshop)
    • AUTOSAR and associated Vector toolset (DaVinci)
  • Experience working with a range of communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, Lin, Flexray)
