Our internships provide students and Master students with an opportunity to experience work and life at PwC, offering a valuable insight into our business and culture.
They are designed to give you a real-life view of what a graduate career in audit with PwC would be like. You'll be able to learn first hand if this is the career for you. If it is, and you perform well, you may return to your degree with an offer of a job when you finish the internship.
Beyond this, our aim is to raise both your commercial awareness and your interpersonal skills to new levels. By experiencing life inside the world's leading professional services firm, you will develop many new skills and qualities that will be valuable for your future career, whatever you choose to do.
Note that the internships are full-time. You will be able to sit all your exams at university. As for attending courses and seminars, our flexibility is subject to the client engagements you will be assigned to.
Auditors check companies' accounts, using our innovative auditing methodology, and give assurance to stockholders that the financial statements are true and correct. They also provide accounting advice with regard to Romanian accounting principles, international Financial Reporting Standards and other accounting systems.
As an intern, you'll be treated in much the same way as our regular junior associates. During your time with us, you will be exposed to a wide range of work and clients, and will be expected to make a valuable contribution throughout.
If that sounds too challenging, don't worry: you won't be thrown in at the deep end straightaway. Your program will start with an in-depth training program, which will provide both general and specific technical training, designed to give you all the skills you'll need to fulfill your responsibilities.
What we are looking for:
• Students in their 2nd year of BA or Master students;
• Advanced English language skills, both verbal and written;
• A team-player interested in audit, with a genuine desire to develop skills and knowledge;
• Availability to travel.
