Description

As a contributor of the ARM MPU Kits and boards team, the candidate shall be involved in both hardware and software matters:
Hardware dealing with electronic boards design, development, troubleshooting, documentation.
Software dealing with electronic boards verification & testing, low level code (drivers) development. 

Responsibilities and duties
Developing low level software for driving boards components, testing boards, and providing example source code to ease board bring-up.
Participating at describing the specifications of microcontroller based boards and extensions.
Writing user documentation, application notes Skills Required
Proven experience with C programming language
Familiar with microcontroller systems architectures.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of digital electronic systems featuring high speed interfaces and memories. Skills in analog electronics are appreciated as well.
Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design environments.
Familiar with lab environment and tools usage: high-end instrumentation, SMT soldering etc.
Good troubleshooting capabilities. 
Knowledge of basic communication protocols (. SPI, I2C, UART, …)
Awareness of Signal Integrity and EMC concerns. 

Other Skills required
Comfortable working cross-culturally. Enthusiastic nature, eager to develop and learn new skills, but also to share knowledge
Also capable of working autonomously on assigned jobs and proactively on background objectives.
Weekly / frequent progress reporting must be a second nature, along with freely discussing issues and having open constructive exchanges with the management. 

Learning opportunities
Develop higher level C/C++/Java Script/Python programs using specific compilers (IAR, GNU, Keil) for 32 bit architecture ARM MPUs.
Develop software within Linux environment.
Contributing and growing skills in designing high-end, high speed electronic systems using latest Microchip products and technology.
Improve technical skills by joining a team of professional engineers in a friendly and healthy environment.
