Codeless Technology offers IT rebuild and nearshoring services to companies in Europe, offering development capacity and consultancy in multiple software and hardware fields: .NET, Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, SharePoint, SQL and others.

For our software development center in Iași we are looking for a new Application Analyst, with Senior experience level, who will be working in close collaboration with one of our customers from The Netherlands. The customer is a professional, international wholesale organization offering many possibilities for training and education. The company has the attitude of a family business and employees are loyal, dedicated and have a sense of responsibility. With 3 divisions in Europe, 2000 employees and overm2 of warehouse capacity, there is continuous focus on quality, service and sustainability.

The Business Analyst will work with stakeholders from all business units and related third parties, in order to define and document business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives, including online products, content management systems, and business information systems.

The role of a business analyst has evolved from someone who was a part of the business operation and worked with Information Technology to improve the quality of the products and services being delivered by the IT organization to someone who apart from gathering business requirements, also assists in Integration and Acceptance Testing, supports the development of training and implementation material, participates in the implementation, and provides post-implementation support.

Main tasks and responsibilities

As the Business Analyst role evolved within the organization, the person fulfilling the role will be in charge of the following:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, as well as developing and implementing solutions
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Performing requirements analysis for business processes and gathering information from all the stakeholders involved within the process
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports and functional designs
  • Providing training, coaching, and guidance to end users and junior staff
  • Ensuring that the proposed solutions are meeting the business needs and requirements
  • Performing user acceptance testing in accordance with the overall project plan
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures in regards with the processes part of the portfolio
  • Create functional requirements in use cases. Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with all stakeholders that “use cases” and process models accurately portray specific business needs
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Managing competing resources and priorities
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT improvements, for automating and modernizing systems
  • Conducting meetings and presentations in order to share ideas and findings
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts



  • Must have:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (Business Informatics)
    • A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis or a related field
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
    • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them in order to determine the best in class solutions
    • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
    • A good understanding of information technology
    • Excellent documentation skills
    • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
    • Experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • A track record of following through on commitments
    • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
    • A history of leading and supporting successful projects
    • A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
    • Ability to travel to The Netherlands for periods of 1-2 weeks every 3-6 months
  • Considered a Plus:
    • Experience and technical skill in the areas of Database Management (SQL, Oracle etc.) and ERP (SAP, Navision etc.) are highly valued
    • Experience with Wholesale, Logistics and Warehousing terminology and applications
    • Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage
    • Mastering other European languages is an advantage
