POSITION OF JUNIOR PROJECT OFFICER – BUCHAREST OFFICE

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Context

Lattanzio Group () is an Italian consulting group, composed of six specialised companies and assisting governments and international organizations in the formulation, management, monitoring and evaluation of development strategies, policies and programmes, in countries or regions characterised by poverty phenomena and/or by transition processes. The Group is specialised in providing training and policy advice to public administrations and has taken a leading role in supporting reforms and modernization processes in both Italy and Europe. The Group has then developed additional expertise in the following main areas: governance, justice and rule of law, public reforms, institutional building, education and vocational education, training, employment, private sector development, regional and local development, human rights and gender equality, rural and agricultural development, communication.

 The Group’s individual companies participate in public tenders related to the areas mentioned above, at both the national and international levels (including Romanian tenders), which once successful lead to the implementation and evaluation of projects/programmes all over the world.

 The Group is based in Italy (Rome and Milan), whit a number of offices abroad, in Bucharest, Brussels, Washington DC and Astana.

 Around 10 people work in the Bucharest office, which is also called Centro Servizi (CS).. The Bucharest office provides a number of common services to the various companies and offices of Lattanzio Group, in order to support them while participating in tendering processes and in project management. Specifically, the Centro Servizi is in charge of the following main general processes:

  1. tender monitoring and alert, . screening of business opportunities for the various companies and relevant dissemination of the information to the key staff;
  2. internal databases management, . management of the internal folders’ tree and of the Group’s intranet and databases;
  3. administrative support, . preparation of the administrative documents related to the Group’s companies that are required during the tendering processes.
  4. CV search and management, . search for the technical expertise (. individual experts) needed for participating in the tenders, both on internal and external databases.

Position

Admin Assistant. The candidate will contribute to the above-mentioned tasks undertaken by the Bucharest office, with a specific focus on the internal database management. The candidate will thus work with the staff in the other offices of the Group.

Profile

The candidate should have:

  • University degree in relevant subjects, . IT/computer science, political sciences, economics, international development, etc.
  • Very good computer skills, including the use of databases. Strong IT knowledge is desirable.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of Italian is an asset
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; pro-active and problem-solving attitude
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal, team working and communication skills

Details

  • Management of the internal folders’ tree and of the Group’s intranet
  • Data entry and management of the internal databases (folders, CVs, partners)
  • Substitution functions to the administrative/ tender monitoring activities

 The Admin Assistant will contribute to the above described activities, which will be undertaken under the supervision of:

  • The senior staff of the Bucharest Office
  • The staff based in Rome & Milan or any other office of the Group.

 

The net entry salary is 2300 Ron.
