POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mood Media North America Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing corporate invoices for This includes (but is not limited to) sorting mail, filing, data entry, and answering emails and phone calls from clients (internal and external).

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Research and resolve any discrepancies that would prevent setup or payment to any vendors
  2. Setup or update vendor file maintenance as needed
  3. Accurately enter invoices into Oracle operating system for payment
  4. Accurately read and process large amounts of electronic data
  5. Investigate and resolve duplicate or erroneous invoicing/payments
  6. Work directly with Mood Media North America Purchasing Department  to resolve issues with purchase orders
  7. Coordinate with Mood Media North America Affiliate Services on processing IA invoices manually and via OIC ( Oracle system )
  8. Responds to general inquiries from US based vendors, US based  management and Mood Media North America team members regarding invoices or payments
  9. Build and maintain a high level of accuracy in all areas of work
  10. Practice service excellence with both our internal and external clients per the service level standards
  11. Assist in projects as assigned by department management to maintain data integrity within operating system
  12. Identify and immediately report to your manager any existing or potential issues that may affect our relationship with our clients, whether internal or external

 

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  2. Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
  3. Strong analytical skills with exceptional written and verbal skills
  4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and other stakeholders
  5. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  6. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  7. Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  8. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  9. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
  10. The ability to manage multiple tasks
  11. Knowledge of Oracle ERP
  12. Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or similar financial role
