Accountant

Wörwag Pharma is looking for a full-time, experienced Accountant (located in Cluj Napoca) who will focus on daily operations of the Accounting Department and will contribute with passion to the further success and expansion of Wörwag in Romania. The new Accountant will report directly to the Chief Accountant.

Key responsibilities include:

• Petty cash responsible;
• Bank statements accounting;
• Accounts receivable – invoice allocation, collection and ageing reports;
• Travel expenses accounting;
• Fixed assets accounting and supporting documentation;
• VAT journals and statements;
• Accruals and provisions;
• Prepaid expenses;
• Responsible with the relation with banks and public institutions;
• Supports the team for internal and external audits;
• Operational financial reports;
• Cost center monthly reports and variation analysis
• Participates at mid-year and year-end inventory;

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

• English skills medium/advanced;
• Flexible and team oriented person;
• Organizational skills and focus on keeping deadlines
• Previous experience of working with SAP, would be an advantage

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

• Self-motivated, self-learner, can-do attitude and results-driven, strong business ethics
