About the Job

A key technical position responsible reporting to the Infrastructure Support Manager. The department is split into two teams- one responsible for the hotel booking platform and it’s ancillaries (The Commercial Platform) and another all other systems (Non-Commercial Platforms). This role is in the Non-Commercial platform team, although inevitably there will be crossover of tasks and responsibilities.


Duties and  Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and support of Citrix/VDI infrastructure
  • Configuration and management of hypervisor stacks
  • Networking configuration and management, including Firewalls, Load Balancers
  • Enterprise hardware management and troubleshooting
  • Configuration and management of monitoring and automation systems
  • Licence reporting and reconciliation
  • Point of escalation for application support
  • Leading and mentoring the 1st/2nd and monitoring teams


This role is based in Romania but may require occasional travel to Cluj and/or support functions in London.

Experience, Qualifications,  Training requirements

Who are you?

Candidate should have experience working in geographically dispersed team (10+ members) with a strong customer focus

  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Excellent documentation/communication skills
  • Strong experience operating and managing Citrix in a 250+ user environment
  • Strong Windows (AD/IIS/WSUS/WDS etc)
  • Strong Hyper-V/SCOM
  • Strong VMWare/Virtualcenter
  • Strong SQL management kills


  • Knowledge of the travel industry is desirable
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
