Provides budgets, cost estimates and variances analysis,
Provides forecasts and cash flow analysis,
Provides Cost Controlling and analysis,
Oversees the accrual processes in the monthly closings, ensures timely delivery of the monthly closing and provides insight in deviation analysis,
Provides cash flow projections, business plans, and long-term financial goals and leads implementation,
Analyzes the financial impact of major business operational issues and decisions affecting the business and delivering timely reports as requested, monitors various KPIs, suggests improvements and evaluates possible risks in achieving the company’s financial targets,
Act as a sparring partner to the managing director and the link to the central functions within the group,
Evaluates current policies and practices within the Controlling department and drive continuous improvement, maintaining a strict confidentiality of operational, financial, and business information,
Strong link to all departments for data insight and identification of improvement potentials,
Manages the selection and recruitment process for Controlling team, including interviews and facilitates the team development.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration,
5+ years of extensive working experience in a senior Controlling position (the experience as Head Controlling is an asset),
Very good Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on strong Excel skills (experience in PowerPoint and Think cell is an asset),
Advanced English: capable of carrying out a written or verbal conversation regarding daily business, reporting KPI’s, making presentations, presenting and sustaining a professional opinion (German is an asset),
Strong analytical and organizational skills,
Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately,
Strong good communication skills, both in written and verbal form,
Able to solve problems,
Self-motivated and proactive, requiring minimal supervision,
Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads, capable of forming significant relationships with other colleagues,
Able to work comfortably in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment, with tight deadlines,
Availability for business traveling,
Strong leadership capabilities is an asset.
