Responsibilities:




Create, articulate, and execute a content vision across all our social media channels; developing the content independently, with the in house creative team or using external suppliers.



Maintain a social media editorial calendar in order to proactively produce content appropriate for the channels




Content creation - writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels and promotional materials. 




Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs,


Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties. Implement content to target specific audiences and monitor performance. 




Communications/marketing strategy and implementation – working with the marketing team to implement strategic tactics according to the company's marketing/communications plan




Analyzing Trends - Keeping a current view on relevant social media trends, new technologies, and best practice, and incorporating as appropriate to drive sales, customer involvement and customer experience enhancement. Gather insights from social communities. Produce reports analyzing sentiment and trends in order to provide insight.




Manage day-to-day reactive and proactive communications on all key social media channels.




PR Responsibilities:




Build and establish excellent working relationships with journalists; coordinate print, radio, and television interviews.




Write press releases, fact sheets, FAQs, email alerts, and other materials.




Generate media coverage through regular engagement with the media to understand and help shape story ideas.




Provide a full, swift and accurate response to incoming media enquiries.




Assist journalists with their requirements.




Help plan and execute events and BTL activities.




Maintain our media relations contacts database and distribution lists.



Requirements:




A passion for fashion.




Ideally 2 years previous experience in similar role within the fashion industry or relevant work experience at interactive, advertising, public relations, or marketing agencies and/or experience managing social channels for a brand preferably in the consumer internet space in fashion or lifestyle brands.




Proven ability to manage strategic development and execution of social media campaigns




Good working knowledge and experience of social media platforms: YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+




Strong understanding of the tools and apps available to shape and gain insight on community engagement




Background within a customer centric organization with an understanding of the importance of exceptional customer service




Strategically focused with the ability to understand the short and medium term steps required to achieve a longer-term goals and implement our social media strategy




An exciting portfolio of past campaigns/content/creative projects, along with a proven track record in copywriting.



Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment




Expertise and passion for social media and community-building online, including in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, market trends, best practices, and tools of the trade.




"Out of box" thinking, with a strong grip of efficient and effective social media brand exposure, confident and a strong believer in networking both in and out of the digital sphere.






Proactive, driven and results-orientated.




Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with impeccable English language




Understanding of e-commerce and fashion retail.
