The position is available for AY 26-27

Job Purpose
To set up any laboratory equipment needed for the experiment, such as microscopes, test tubes and calibrated glass flasks.

prepare simple reagents regularly used during lab procedures and ensure the lab is stocked with the necessary supplies.
monitor all of the supplies used in the lab and restocking them as needed.
secure the lab, by cleaning up any spills, washing the equipment and glassware, such as conical flasks, pipettes and beakers used by students.
ensure that all caps and tops of reagent bottles are firmly fastened to prevent spills or leakage. They also put back all the reagents and equipment in the designated place after the lesson ends.
select, store, order, classroom equipment, material and supplies
ensure that students do not practice any unsafe behaviors in the lab.
show the students how to handle chemical spills, dispose of broken glassware and get rid of non-hazardous and chemical waste safely.
ensure that students adhere to the lab dress code and wear protective gear, such as safety goggles, during experiments.

Responsibilities:

helps in preparing instructions and materials used during laboratory experiments and demonstrations
Supervising Practical Exams;
working closely with students during lab lessons and guide them through experiments. Walking around the lab and answer questions students have concerning the process.

Requirements:

Bachelor/Master degree diploma
Previous experience working in a laboratory setting preferred
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
a respect and fondness for children
excellent organisational skills;
the capacity to learn quickly;

collaborate and work with colleagues and other relevant professionals within and beyond the school

Cambridge School of Bucharest has grown from a modest student body of just few students to a leading educational institution in Bucharest.
