Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to oversee our agricultural irrigation equipment sales in Southeast Romania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the local market. This remote role requires proactive lead generation, negotiating deals, and effectively closing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Proactively collect leads from the market and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sales.
• Provide customers with detailed and customized quotations, addressing specific needs and requirements.
• Close deals efficiently and oversee the contract completion process to ensure all terms are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the designated area to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Work closely with the customer service and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the agriculture or related field, with a focus on sales or business development.
• Excellent command of Romanian and strong communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Southeast Romanian agricultural market.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to handle multiple tasks and complex negotiations.
Qualifications:
• Not mandatory , but preferable degree in Agriculture, or a related field.
• Professional sales or marketing qualifications are advantageous.
