The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all products and processes meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role involves managing quality systems, leading audits, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and regulatory standards
• Lead internal and external audits (customer, certification bodies)
• Manage customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions (8D methodology)
• Oversee APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA activities
• Monitor key quality KPIs (PPM, scrap rate, rework, customer returns)
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate supplier quality activities and performance monitoring
• Ensure product and process conformity throughout production
• Support new product launches from a quality perspective
• Train and mentor quality team members
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics departments
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
Experience
• 5+ years experience in quality roles within the automotive industry
• Minimum 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial position
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
• Experience with IATF 16949 standards and audits
• Problem-solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa)
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
• Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
• Fluent in English
