Your roles & responsibilities:

• Participates in mock-up workshops;
• Ensures compliance with the technical requirements of the clients in terms of packaging;
• Improves and standardizes internal and external packaging, reduces the diversity of internal packaging;
• Develops the PFMEA for packaging;
• Develops the packaging method for new products;
•  Improves internal packaging to ensure the best ergonomics, cleanliness and safety in use;
• Optimizes costs related to packaging;
• Ensure adherence to legal requirements for packaging materials;
• Ensures the testing and validation of the designed packaging together with the QA department;
• Develops packaging specifications (work instructions);
• Identifies and qualifies potential new packaging suppliers;
• Requests price offers from suppliers based on the packaging specifications;
• Selects, together with the purchasing department, the packaging suppliers;
• Maintains direct contact (from a technical point of view) with packaging suppliers and approves the packaging method proposed by them as well as the materials used;
• Participates in the procurement process of machines and assembly equipment;
• Support during project ramp-up until handover to production;
• Creates and edits change requests for series projects;
• Introduction and execution of the measures from Q-Alarms (8D Report, A3 Problem solving);

Your skills &strengths:

• High level English skills (Level B2);
• Technical University degree ;
• Good knowledge of technical drawing;
• Good knowledge of production costs;
• Flexibility, mobility, teamwork, integrity;
• Oriented towards details and analytical thinking;
• Handling of the IT solutions used (e.g., MS Office, SAP, Corel draw);
• Ability to develop and implement strategic concepts;
