We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead Product and Process Engineering within a precision industrial environment.

This role serves as the technical authority for advanced manufacturing operations, assembly, and related external processes, ensuring that customer requirements are translated into robust, efficient, and cost-effective production solutions.

Working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Quality), the Engineering Manager will play a critical role in delivering scalable, high-quality, and commercially viable processes, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Also, the Engineering manger should be the main driver of Process Improvement, Robotization & Automation as well as plant readiness for IOT deployment

Key Responsibilities 

1. Engineering Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and develop the Product and Process Engineering team, setting clear priorities and performance expectations.
• Translate customer and market requirements into efficient and competitive industrial solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define cost-effective production and assembly strategies.
• Drive structured engineering practices, ownership, and problem-solving discipline.

2. Product & Process Development

• Develop and standardize production and assembly processes across advanced industrial operations and high-volume environments.
• Ensure creation and maintenance of:
• • Manufacturing drawings
  • Process routings
  • Control plans
  • PFMEAs
• Optimize process parameters, tooling approaches, and production methods to improve:
• • Productivity
  • Repeatability
  • Quality
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure smooth transition into serial production.

3. Commercial & Customer Interface

• Support quotation processes with technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
• Engage with customers to:
• • Clarify requirements
  • Resolve technical challenges
  • Align on manufacturability
• Drive value add / value engineering initiatives to reduce cost without compromising performance.

4. Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and process stability.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma projects as well as Kaizen improvement  workshops).
• Establish and sustain standardized engineering processes.
• Support performance management systems that enable rapid issue resolution.

5. External & Special Processes

• Oversee engineering integration of externally supplied processes and services.
• Ensure alignment with:
• • Quality standards
  • Cost targets
  • Lead-time expectations
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve capability and performance.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing or development management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading engineering teams in industrial production environments.
• Experience supporting or leading multiple projects and managing engineering team.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong commercial awareness (cost vs. performance balance).
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Effective communication skills in English; (French language is a plus)
