The Data Analyst within EU Store Audit department has the knowledge and skills to run raw data into information and insight which can be used in the assessments and root cause analysis on operational processes of the local Brands in stores, DC, E-Commerce.

He/she will ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design and present it to help key controls of operating effectiveness.

This will increase the visibility and transparency on compliance and risk mitigation and the level of operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the European Store Audit teams with data driven analyses of company risks and give insight and visualize various facts through dashboarding
• Advise in store audit controls to improve the departmental methodology and effectiveness using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources (e.g. SAP, SQL, PowerApps)
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, reorganizing data in a readable format
• Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators and assess the meaning and value of the data
• Use tools to identify, analyse and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
• Analyse local, national and global trends that impact the operational risks

What skills and competencies we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools
• Knowledge of store processes or operational (retail) audits is a plus
• Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in statistical packages (Excel, SQL)
• Data analytics and data visualization such as PowerBI, Tableau
• Analytical skills, process minded, logical insights and ability to think critically
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Creativity, ability of critical thinking
• Excellent planning and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with conflict and influence change
• Good written and oral communication skills in English is preferred. Knowledge of other languages is a plus

Travel: The position could require travel between Ahold Delhaize Brands depending on projects
