We are hiring an Accountant for our client, a multinational manufacturing company based in Lugoj.

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of ongoing accounts payable and receivable;
• Use of automated programs to process bank statements in the receivables area;
• Posting of incoming invoices via electronic invoice receipt workflow or directly in the ERP system (SAP);
• Reviewing invoices in compliance with the laws and regulations of the country where the assigned company is situated;
• Assessing and booking business transactions;
• Preparation and execution of payment runs;
• Processing of payment reminders, accruals, and regular account reconciliations;
• Close collaboration with other departments;
• Maintenance of financial records, including general and subsidiary ledgers;
• Organizing and managing accounting documents and records;
• Communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders;
• Handling various administrative and clerical tasks as needed;
• Accounts Receivable Management.

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting within an international environment;
• Experience with SAP (Finance Modul) is mandatory;
• General knowledge of Romanian and European tax regulations;
• Skilled in data entry and using accounting software;
• Proficient in English (B2/C1 level); additional languages (German, Italian, or French) are an advantage;
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices;
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management;
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
• Effective verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
