We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Area Lead to lead and coordinate the assigned production area, ensuring the achievement of production targets and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher technical education;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role;
• Previous experience in the automotive industry, within production and/or manufacturing engineering;
• Solid understanding of technological processes;
• Knowledge of production equipment and materials;
• Knowledge of production systems;
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles;
• Proficiency in English, German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the assigned production area;
• Monitor and ensure the achievement of the daily production plan;
• Ensure fulfillment of production targets and customer requirements;
• Implement best practices within production processes;
• Coordinate subordinates in task execution and define objectives and performance indicators;
• Be responsible for the development and motivation of team members;
• Supervise and ensure the accuracy and consistency of production data;
• Plan and/or verify workforce requirements for the assigned area and propose necessary measures to management when required;
• Monitor quality objectives to prevent and reduce scrap and rework;
• Lead and actively participate in daily Shop Floor Management meetings;
• Collaborate with other managers to establish and respect production priorities.
