As part of our expanding team, we are currently looking for a dedicated Lead System Administrator (Male/Female).

 

THE POSITION

Safebridge is looking to hire an experienced and talented individual for the position of a Lead System Administrator. The right candidate will join a fast growing, multi-national and energetic team in our offices in Limassol, Cyprus

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Responsibility for the smooth operation of the IT-infrastructure incl. the productive virtualization- and Docker-clusters
  • Leadership of the IT Operations team
  • Responsibility for the operation, development and ensuring the high availability of the IT-infrastructure (network, security, databases, applications) 
  • Analyzing and resolving of problems at the data centers by developing solution concepts, incl. technical specifications
  • Close collaboration with the software development team and the stakeholders
  • Initialization and management of IT-projects
  • Responsibility for the right and role management
  • Creating and maintaining of IT-emergency-plans

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed academic studies in computer sciences /business informatics, or completed training as Systems Integration Specialist, or other related area. 
  • Very good Linux skills
  • Experience with virtualization- and/or Docker-cluster
  • Sound knowledge in distributed server structures
  • Knowledge in SQL and no-SQL databases
  • Experience with CI/CD is of advantage
  • Experience with cloud computing (. AWS) is of advantage
  • Very good communication skills
  • Team-minded and able to work under pressure 
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to assume responsibility
  • Very good English skills
  • Joy in working in an international high energy, fast pace environment
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Driver’s license
  • Willingness for international travelling about one week every two months
