What you should have: 

  • University graduate in Economics/Accounting;

  •  
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in General Accounting, Reporting & Controlling;

  •  
  • Experience in the General Accounting, Reporting & Controlling area, IFRS and the local GAAP;

  •  
  • Extensive experience in in task reallocation and transitions and also in improvement projects;

  •  
  • Fluent in spoken and written English;

  •  
  • Spoken and written in French /German /Polish or any additional second foreign language is an advantage;

  •  
  • Very good computer skills related to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);

  •  
  • SAP S/4 Hana Knowledge or SAP ByD experience;

  •  
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables processes would be an advantage.

The role:

  • Responsible for the General Accounting, Reporting & Controlling processes;

  •  
  • Responsible for recruiting, people development and performance management for approx. 15 employees;

  •  
  • Coach team members, set goals, develop individual action plans and train team as needed;

  •  
  • Support the implementation of strategic Finance EMEA-wide projects;

  •  
  • Ensures Finance EMEA-wide compliance to EB and regulatory standards;

  •  
  • Supports internal and external audits;

  •  
  • Prepares and coordinates the monthly closing and timeline with the local entity Management;

  •  
  • Resolves open issues with the local entity Management;

  •  
  • Continuously improves the Finance processes and drives innovations;

  •  
  • Identify opportunities for further automation.
