Legal Advisor

Our office in Romania is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our LegalDepartment for the position of Legal Advisor.

Job description:

• Providing legal advice regarding mainly corporate, tax, employment & immigration matters, that concern the company internally or the company's clients. 
• Independently drafting & reviewing legal documents (corporate documents, memos, agreements). 
• Independently liaising with government authorities and clients for the tasks' completion. 
• Independently handling real estate cases end to end (due diligence, contract review and preparation, handling of issues through the process). 
• Monitoring the company's compliance and updating policies and procedures. 
• Engaging in cross-department collaboration. 
• Keeping abreast of legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations that may affect the company. Updating the company as needed. 

Requirements:

• A University/College degree in Law with relevant certifications and qualifications to practice law in Romania
• Up to 2 years of experience in a corporate environment, law office/law firm 
• Willingness to learn and thoroughly understand corporate law, commercial law, and international business practices, civil, tax and migration law 
• Fluent in both Romanian and English 
• Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) 
• Computer literate 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously 
• Experience in immigration and/or GDPR compliance will be considered an advantage
