The company employs over 500 engineers and IT experts. We design and develop software applications using state-of-the-art technology. Our current ICT projects under implementation have a value exceeding 200 million EUR. EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is a renowned supplier of IT services to European Union Institutions and Agencies, international organizations and national government administrations internationally.

 

We currently have a vacancy for an IT Support Officer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in France. The work will be carried out either on site or at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Support team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

 

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for the management, deployment, configuration and upgrade of the ICT infrastructure systems;
  • Follow-up of service quality and reporting on the infrastructure items;
  • Provision of 2nd and 3rd level support activities to Service Desk and to other units;
  • Production of technical documentation and of work instructions and processes;
  • Preparing training material and delivering training sessions;
  • Support of the disaster recovery plan;
  • Participation in meetings.

 

Your skills:

  • Minimum 12 years of combined relevant university studies and experience in the IT sector;
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the End User and back-office support functions;
  • Proven knowledge of ITIL incident, Problem, Change management and Quality processes;
  • Proven experience in user support, training and/or documentation writing;
  • Demonstrable experience in Microsoft products and environments such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft AD Services 2012;
  • Experience with CISCO products, F5, ECM, Brocade or VMware would be highly desirable;
  • Great communication skills and ability to integrate and work in multicultural teams;
  • Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken.
