Founded 25 years ago, Genesis College was the first private school accredited in Bucharest.
Genesis College is accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education and by the International Baccalaureate Organization for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), all designed to provide our students with access to prestigious high schools and universities worldwide.

Genesis College is looking for a highly qualified and experienced international educator to teach English Language within the MYP programme (experience with DP is considered an advantage).

Relevant Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Strong academic background in English Language (Bachelor’s/Master’s degree)
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
• Excellent command of English (native or near-native level preferred)
• Technological competencies – ability to work with computers, projectors, and interactive whiteboards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Creativity, initiative, and engagement in the educational process
• Availability for additional student development projects
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Experience within the International Baccalaureate system (MYP/DP) – considered an advantage
• Involvement in extracurricular activities – language clubs, drama, creative writing, debate, summer camps, workshops
• Relevant student results in competitions or academic achievements
• Participation in specialized training courses, nationally or internationally
• Passion and dedication for the teaching profession
• Desire to be part of a dynamic team and to uphold the institution’s high academic standards

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering English Language and Literature lessons aligned with national and IB curriculum requirements
• Participating in complementary educational activities and school life
• Attending pedagogical and subject-specific professional development
• Coordinating homeroom/mentoring responsibilities, including:
• • communication with parents
  • monitoring and centralizing student progress reports
• Preparing and providing teaching materials and instructional resources
• Understanding and applying the educational policies and principles of the institution
• Maintaining high-quality communication with parents and partner institutions
• Contributing to school committees and institutional projects
• Using digital platforms such as Google Suite and ManageBac
