OESL is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential trade compliance processes, maintaining regulatory adherence, and ensuring seamless communication with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in maintaining an efficient, compliant, and transparent supply chain across the EU.

You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to ensure that all import/export and transportation processes meet legal requirements and company standards.

Trade Compliance & Documentation:

•   Manage and validate Long Term Supplier Declarations (LTSDs) in accordance with EU preferential origin requirements;
• Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding trade compliance documents, ensuring timely collection, clarification, and resolution of discrepancies;
• Conduct sanctioned party list screenings using approved tools and procedures;
• Prepare and submit customs documentation in line with EU customs regulations, including correct goods classification, customs value, duties/taxes, and required declarations;

Logistics & ERP Activities:

•  Confirm goods receipt and delivery within ERP systems (e.g., SAP), ensuring accurate and timely data updates;
• Support procurement by ensuring requested materials are delivered on time and accompanied by the correct compliance documents;

Recordkeeping & Internal Controls:

• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation aligned with internal and regulatory requirements;
•   Support internal and external audits by providing required compliance documentation;

Confidentiality & Compliance:

• Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive business, supplier, and customer information;
• Adhere to all internal compliance guidelines and contribute to the continuous improvement of trade compliance processes.

• Education in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Customs, or a related field;
• Experience with trade compliance, customs documentation, or supplier declarations within the EU;
• Knowledge of EU customs law, preferential origin rules, and sanctioned party screening processes;
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail;
• Professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners;
• Fluency in English; additional EU languages are an asset.
