The Technical Support Engineer - Intern performs basic engineering tasks including data collection, computation, analysis, addressing platform alerts. Intern generates reports on workload, quality and performance of the team and provides recommendations and conclusions. Interacts with customers and understands customer requirements as well as proposing and implementing solutions to satisfy customer needs. Works closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes. May be involved in Akamai Customer Care internal projects. Candidate will have chance to work in technically advanced environment connected with top internet technologies and group of talented engineers. A Technical Support Engineer - Intern will: * Work with our customers' technical teams on post-sales technical issues. The investigation of technical issues may involve complex data analysis from Akamai's distributed network and an in-depth examination of the interaction between Akamai and the customer's origin infrastructure. * Clearly communicate with customers via telephone and email to ensure that you understand the issue and the customer understands the resolution. * Work and resolve technical problems and issues reported from the technical staff of our customers related to Akamai's products and Infrastructure. * Address alerts from Akamai platform which reflects condition of our customer infrastructure also performing maintenances of streaming part of infrastructure. * Work closely with cross-functional teams composed of Engineering, Operations, Sales, Professional Services, and Account Management representatives when applicable. * Student/Graduate in Computer Science/Engineering or similar * Fluency in English * Experience in web development - some coding experience or successful completion of related college courses (CCNA is a great plus) * Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, network routing, common network protocols (TCP/IP) and tools (ping, traceroute), video streaming protocols * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently solve technical problems * Analytical skills and technical writing skills * Excellent communication skills * Technical passion, Creativity, multitasking skills * Knowlegde of French language is a plus Please add to your CV the statement below:"Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych dla potrzeb niezbędnych do realizacji obecnych jak i przyszłych procesów rekrutacji zgodnie z ustawą z dnia 29 sierpnia 1997 r. o ochronie danych osobowych (tekst jednolity: . )."
