Technical BA/QA for Visma. net Platform team
We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Technical Business Analyst/Quality Assurer to join our Platform team in Sibiu. We are building a Cloud Platform that is an important component in Visma’s drive for integrated products & services, being cloud services, on-premise software (deployed on the customer side or hosted by ASPs) or mobile. The Platform is responsible for authentication and authorization of users and business enablement of Visma customers (licensing, integrations and automatization).
You will work in R&D office from Sibiu, together with colleagues in Norway, Finland and Romania - and a lot of colleagues from the other teams spread in locations from Nordic countries and also Timisoara. We host our applications in the AWS public cloud, and we follow agile methodologies closely collaborating with our customers and stakeholders.
In your job you will be responsible for the end-to-end process from “translating” the requirements into implementable specifications, pairing with developers (and the other key roles: Service Owner, Architect, Infrastructure Engineer and all the team members), developing and maintaining automated tests, to Production delivery and after service support - full pipeline, everything automated and in a Continuous Delivery fashion.
This requires also some programming skills, knowledge of web, database and other related technologies. Security is a plus, at least as a healthy approach/mindset.
Leading projects is also an appreciated skill. Not necessarily stick to a specific methodology/framework, not about delivering documentation and only facilitating meetings, but is important to understand the customer case, facilitating it into the team, following-up and coordination both inside the team and with different types of stakeholders.
Responsibilities and work tasks:
You will need to ensure that our product meets its functional, performance, stability and usability requirements
Requirement analysis and specifications
Design, implement and automate testing of solution: mainly unit and integration tests (JUnit, SoapUI)
Maintain and enhance good test automation pipeline: code, process and tools
Follow up on the issue tracking system (being features, tasks, bugs, etc)
Deliver to Production, application support
Keeping up-to-date on new technologies, methods and tools
Participate in our Scrum/Kanban/Lean processes and other team activities
We believe that you have:
Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Business
Experience and passion for the customer
Hands-on experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development, knowledge about other types of tests and tools is a plus
Basic knowledge of programming
Experience with support
Well-structured and quality-focused attitude

Analytical mindset and well organized with attention to details

Fluent in English speaking and writing as English is the working language
