Tasks:

• Organizes, directs and controls the production activity in a certain sector and during a shift;
• Leads the production of multiple processes/lines in a highly technical environment and responsible for the success of the lines;
• Evaluates the line's operating performance on a daily/regular basis and provides advice on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiency and quality;
• Lead a team of operators to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements;
• Troubleshoots and analyzes operational issues and advises on how to solve them;
• Guides regular discussions with operators to maintain performance and improve operational understanding and capability;
• Solicits and evaluates ideas for line improvement and collaborates with qualified engineers to develop project proposals;
• Acts as the main interface between the operation team and the maintenance function;
• Is involved in the training of new operators.

Profile:

• Secondary education (e.g.: high school diploma);
• Knowledge of FIFO principle, 8D-Report and Complaint Handling;
• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role;
• Knowledge of English is a must;
• Availability for working in shifts;
• Communication, work in cross functional teams skills, process oriented thinking and very good analytical and proactivity skills.
