CMS Tax SRL is seeking a dedicated and motivated Tax Consultant to join our Tax Department. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within an international law and tax advisory firm.

Skills & Experience Required

• Solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Results-oriented with a proactive mindset
• Committed to continuous personal and professional development
• Genuine interest in working across all tax areas with clients from diverse industries
• Motivation to grow within an international law and tax environment
• Up to 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in tax consulting, ideally within an international firm

Education & Qualifications

• University degree in Economics or Law (postgraduate studies are a plus)
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate confidently in business contexts

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Tax Directors on a wide range of tax advisory projects, including ongoing tax assistance, tax audits, due diligence, transfer pricing, domestic and cross-border restructuring, representing clients before Romanian tax authorities, tax challenges.
• Provide support on direct tax (including transfer pricing) and indirect tax, as well as other tax areas
• Conduct tax research and draft professional tax advice
• The focus is on consultancy; preparation of tax returns represents a minor part of the role
