As System administrator you will be responsible for infrastructure, HW and SW assets of three production sites while coordinating a small team of colleagues.
Main duties :
Manage network servers and technology tools.
Manage the installation, configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems.
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls according the Group standards.
Recommend, and make Information Technology purchases within the Group standards.
Maintain software licenses and license purchases.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
Design and management of traditional network and server environment while maintaining internal controls for dependability.
Collaborate with existing team members in leading, developments and improvements of various internal IT systems.
Maintain and develop standards, plans and procedures based on best practices from the ITIL framework.
Establish a governance process to audit, monitor and enforce change and release processes and policies.
Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot network related issues and outages.
Continually work to improve the ITIL supported processes, including leveraging tools to manage the change implementation, increasing automation and reducing time for deployments.
Conduct continuous evaluation of change and release policies, processes and methods. Identifies areas for improvement opportunities and recommends constructive change.

Proven work experience as System administrator
Hands on experience with ITIL framework based tools and processes ( Fresh Service , Service Now )
Hands on experience with IT Helpdesk function
Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
Customer-service oriented with high problem solving skills
Sound technical skills in IT infrastructure ( MS Servers, AD, VMWare, AWS, Azure, Mobility )
Sound technical skills in networking ( DNS, DHCP, remote user support )
Good knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Team management skills
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
English while German is a strong point
